What is Fujiwara Eyeglasses?
① 86 years of history
It has been loved by the local people for many years since it was founded in 1935 (Showa 10), and in 2022 it celebrated its 87th anniversary. It is the only long-established store specializing in eyeglasses in the Tsurumi Ginza shopping district in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama. Hidehito Miyazawa, Hyundai CEO, is the 4th generation.
② Certified optician
A " certified eyeglass specialist " who is a professional eyeglasses is stationed and handles everything such as "measurement", "processing", "preparation", "advice on frame / lens selection", and "other consultation".
③ Lens
Nikon-Essilor and HOYA are the main manufacturers, including the highest peak bifocal lens " AI Century Series " that is only allowed to be sold by Nikon-Essilor's " authorized dealers ". We mainly sell product lenses.
We handle a wide variety of lenses and frames, such as various glass lenses and bifocal lenses, from ¥ 29,800 lenses to lenses with the highest performance in Japan .
We recommend that you examine "customer's eye condition", "daily visual life", and "past eyeglass history" from more than 200 types of lenses .
④ Frame
From various brands, we take into consideration the durability, ease of hanging, design, lightness, optical elements, etc., and actually pick up each one and scrutinize it.
We carry a wide range of items, from casual domestic 10,000-yen frames to those made of 18-karat gold and luxury items with jewels such as Swarovski.

⑤Measurement technology
We perform basic measurements such as the " cloud fog method " to relieve eye tension, prism measurement , stereoscopic vision, and balance measurement.
We perform highly accurate measurements that take into account "customer's daily lifestyle," "power of glasses that we have been using," and "balance of various numerical values of the left and right eyes."
Please note that it may take up to 1 hour for the measurement.
⑥ Processing technology
Even if the spectacle lens is the same thickness, it can be made thinner and lighter in consideration of the shape of the frame, or it can be made to the minimum thickness and lightness by performing special shaving.
At our shop, we try to provide all our customers with lenses that are as thin and light as possible.

We are working hard every day to inherit our 87-year history and pass it on to the next generation.
I've been working with glasses for about 40 years, but I'm working on introducing new technologies and knowledge every day. The 60th birthday was reached in 2013, but it is still active.

While taking the position of a female customer and taking advantage of her qualification as a color coordinator, we also recommend frames and lens colors from a fashion perspective. I would like to make proposals unique to women.

I would like to utilize the business administration that I learned at university to provide products and services that customers will be pleased with from various angles. In 2015, I acquired the qualification of "SS-class certified optician", which my father Hidehito Miyazawa also owns.
